Absolute Care Home Health Services accepts Medicare, Health and Long-term Care Insurance plans, Workers’ Compensation, and Veterans and Private Pay.
All our workers are being background screened prior to providing services to you. We check references and confidentiality is a big part of our commitment to you.
We verify the training and experience of each applicant, making sure they have valid CPR certifications as well as all of the professional certifications required within the homecare industry. After they are hired, we also train each and every caregiver to make sure that they adhere to our superior standards. We are committed to quality excellent patient care measurable to produce outcomes.
If you think you would benefit from home healthcare services while you are at home, call your doctor or call us directly and ask to speak to our director of nursing or a clinician. We can also schedule the visits after you are being discharge from a hospital, skilled nursing facility or assisted living facility. Your doctor will need to authorized the care, as we do not provide skilled services without a doctor’s order or prescription.
Tell your doctor by simply asking to send orders to Absolute Care Home Health Services, or with your verbal consent we can formulate a request and send it to your doctor for authorization.
To qualify for the home health benefit, beneficiaries must meet all of the following requirement;
- Be confine to the home.
- Under the care of the physician.
- Receiving services under a plan of care established and periodically
reviewed by a physician. - Be in need of skilled services on an intermittent basis.
Absolutely! We would be honored to care for you or your loved one. Federal law states you have the right to choose your own health care provider whether you are Medicare recipient, private insurance, private pay.
We are on call 24/7, 365 days a year. At no time will our clients be left unattended.
FAQs Homemaker / Companion Services
“COMPANION” OR “SITTER” means a person who spends time with or cares for an elderly, handicapped, or convalescent individual and accompanies such individual on: trips and outings and may prepare and serve meals to such individual. Our companion care services are intended to provide you with exactly the help your loved one needs to remain in his or her home. A companion may not provide hands-on personal care to a client.”
“HOMEMAKER” means a person who performs household chores that include housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, shopping assistance, routine household activities and routine household activities for an elderly, handicapped, or convalescent individual. The homemaker shall maintain the home in an optimum state of cleanliness and safety depending upon the patient ‘ s and the caregiver ‘ s resources, report to the appropriate supervisor any incidents or problems related to his work or to the caregiver; report any unusual incidents or changes in the patient ‘ s behavior to the case manager; and maintain appropriate work records.
